Dr. Christopher C. Bernido and Dr. Maria Victoria Carpio-Bernido are Filipino physicist-educators. As a couple, they were among the recipients of the 2010 Ramon Magsaysay Awards, for their commitment to both science and nation, ensuring innovative, low-cost, and effective basic education even under the Philippine conditions of poverty.

Dr. Christopher and Dr. Maria Victoria (Vicvic) Carpio-Bernido won the 3rd Gawad Haydee Yorac Award, an outstanding distinction which gives tribute to Filipinos who have demonstrated exemplary public service.
